The Trail Bikes allow our Medics to rapidly respond to incidents where the trails are often too narrow for other vehicles to gain immediate access, and/or where Medics in our LAV Ambulance or ATV Patient Transporter will have to walk equipment and stretchers some distance to the incident. The Trail Bikes are also used effectively for road bicycle races for patrolling and moving between groups of bicycles far more effectively than our SUV or LAV ambulance. The Trail Bikes have been extremely effective and well utilised since their introduction.
