First-Aid Station - Gazebos  (FASG)

In addition to our Mobile Medical Centre (MMC) which is used as our primary medical facility at all events requiring a First-Aid Station,  EFAAFS have two 9m x 3m First-Aid Station Gazebo’s (FASG) that can each be set up with a  3m x 3m  minor treatment room for up to four sitting patients,  as well as a separate   3m x 3m resuscitation room for two stretcher patients. A covered open reception area to separate both the resuscitation and treatment rooms provides additional patient privacy. Optionally the FASGs can be set up as smaller secondary 6m x 6m FASGs with an enclosed 3m x 3m treatment room for one stretch patient and two sitting patients.

Standard equipment for the 9m x 3m FASGs includes:

1. Resuscitation room - standard resuscitation equipment for basic airway management, and an AED. Up to two ambulance stretchers can be placed in the room and allows for the movement of patients by our road ambulance or off-road ATV Patient Transporter between facilities if required.

2. Treatment room - is equipped to treat up to four sitting patients with a range of medical equipment for the treatment of minor injuries.

There are two options for the FASGs at events:

1. The gazebos can either be joined with the MMC to form one large first-aid facility for up to 10 sitting patients and 6 stretcher patients in a range of configurations that will allow for up to 8 separate rooms. This is especially useful for large events eg music festivals or major sporting events,   or

2. The gazebos can be set up as two additional stand-alone First-Aid Stations for events where the event area requires more than two First-Aid Stations.
